1 John 4:9 says, "In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him."
The question that immediately comes to mind is, "If we live through Christ, what's the state of the unbelievers?" The answer is found in 1 John 5:12, "He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn't have God's Son doesn't have the life."
Brothers and sisters, there's a life in us, that the unbeliever doesn't have! It's not merely theoretical, it's true! The very life of God is in us now! That life is what Apostle John called "the life." Jesus is The Life: and it is by Him that we live now! We've got to be conscious of eternal life in us and take advantage of it. Why have something that was given because of love and not enjoy it?
By virtue of the life of God in you, you should never be sick again! The Jews who had a revelation of eternal life used to bear Chayyim (hebrew for life) in order to remain healthy and to improve their health. Refuse to accept sickness in your body! I've forgotten what it means to be sick or to take drugs because for over a decade I've understood what it means to have zoe! I've got the life of God in me! And that life, is a superior life! Hallelujah! Fight your fight of faith, and keep fighting until you lay hold of chayyim!
