The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards
in Los Angeles didn’t disappoint tonight as ”Breaking Bad” took
home the final Emmy of the evening for Outstanding Drama
Series, giving die-hard fans a silver lining as the show concludes next
week.
The night also included some
surprises as “The Newsroom’s” Jeff Daniels beat out Bryan Cranston for
Lead Actor in a Drama and Kerry Washington didn’t win for Lead Actress in
a Drama like expected. Michael Douglas picked up an award for his
portrayal of Liberace in “Behind the Candelabra” and “Modern Family” won again
for Outstanding Comedy Series.
