5 Things You Didn’t Know About Male Masturbation

by R. Morgan Griffin
If there’s one thing that almost every guy is an expert at, it’s masturbation. After years of extensive, hands-on experience, you think you know everything there is to know. But according to the experts, maybe you don’t. Here are some that may surprise you.

1. Masturbation doesn’t have the health benefits that sex does.

“It appears that not all orgasms are created equally,” says Tobias S. Köhler, MD, MPH, an associate professor at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.
Study after study shows that intercourse has all sorts of benefits for men — for your blood pressureheart andprostatehealth, pain, and more. You’d think that masturbation would, too. But it doesn’t.
Why would it make a difference whether you ejaculate during sex or on your own? No one’s sure. But your body seems to respond differently. Even the makeup of semen is different if you masturbate instead of having sex.
Still, does it really matter? Have you honestly been masturbating all these years only because you wanted to boost your prostate health? Didn’t think so.

#HealthAlert: What You Should Know About The Ebola Virus [MUST READ]

Ebola is a rare but deadly infection that causes bleeding inside and outside the body. Although popular movies and books describe major outbreaks of ebola-like disease in the U.S., they’re just works of fiction.

Ebola strikes mainly in remote villages of Central and West Africa, but it has spread to some African cities, too.

The disease, also known as Ebola hemorrhagic fever or Ebola virus disease, kills up to 90% of people who are infected.

How Do You Get Ebola?

You can get Ebola by coming into contact with the blood or body fluids of an animal or person who is infected.
People often get sick with Ebola when they care for or bury a person who has the disease. Someone also can catch the virus by touching contaminated needles or surfaces.

Spirit And Life Devotional: Accepting Criticism Gracefully

Micah 3:8 ERV “But the Lord’s Spirit has filled me with power, goodness, and strength. So I can tell Jacob about his crimes, and so I can tell Israel about his sins!”
There have been times in my life when I was scared to go to church because of something wrong I did; I was afraid that some prophet would see a vision of what I had done and rebuke me publicly. But God is merciful. His aim is not to embarrass us, but to restore us back to fellowship with Himself. Hallelujah!

Spirit And Life Devotional: Divine Tests And Rewards

John 6:5-6 ERV "Jesus looked up and saw a crowd of people coming toward him. He said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough bread for all these people to eat?” He asked Philip this question to test him. Jesus already knew what he planned to do."
There's a difference between temptations and tests. God tests and Satan tempts. The purpose of temptations is to make you sin but tests are to test your faith in God and to know what you'd do in a particular situation.

7 Sex Positions Men Love

by Diana Vilibert
Want to spice things up in the bedroom? Make his night and drive him crazy with these sex positions that men love. Ultimately, sex is about love and intimacy, so while the positions are part of the fun, the real payoff is the way various maneuvers allow you to connect and explore each other in different ways.
1. Woman on Top: Ask your guy what drives him crazy in the bedroom, and we’re betting he’ll say it’s pleasing you. This sexy position puts you in the driver’s seat, and that’s exactly where he wants you. Take advantage of being in control and set the pace according to what you like, leaving his hands free to roam. The bonus? He loves having your curves in full view…so flip on the lights and give him a show.

2. Missionary: This standard go-to is a favorite because it puts him in control, while still being intimate: your hips are free to do all the work, and you can lock lips and eyes with ease. And while he’s in the power position on top of you, the two of you can set the pace together. If you want him to go slower or deeper, put your hands on his hips and guide him. The best sex is like a conversation, and missionary allows you to communicate with your bodies.

5 Things You Need To Stop Doing To Prolong Your Life

There are certain actions you do on a daily basis that are helping to prolong your life. At the same time, there are some that are causing you to cut the years off your life. It’s time to stop doing them, and focus on the good things. Here are five of the actions that you really need to bring a stop to now!

1. Sitting Throughout the Day

You may not have a choice with your job, but it’s really important to sit for as little as possible. Studies have shown that those who sit for more than three hours a day do more damage to their health, and damage that regular exercise cannot help combat against.

Those who sit for 11 hours or more a day for three years increase their chances of dying sooner by 40%.

Suspended CBN Govenor Sanusi Dragged To Court Over N50 Billion Fraud

Shareholders of the defunct Intercontinental Bank Plc, yesterday, dragged the suspended governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi ,before a Federal High Court in Abuja, accusing him of complicity in an alleged N50billion fraud.
In a suit they entered through their lawyer, Chief Chris Uche, SAN, the plaintiffs, including Abdullahi M. Sani, Adaeze Onwuegbusi and Chijioke Ezeikpe, alleged that Sanusi, as the CBN governor, acted contrary to the provisions of sections 12, 32, 35 and 39 of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act, Cap B4 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, by deliberately falsifying the actual financial state of affairs/solvency of Intercontinental Bank Plc and subsequently sold it to his cronies at a ridiculous sum of N50 billion.

How Sugar In Processed Foods Affects Your Health Negatively

Too much of a good thing can be harmful. Too much of a bad thing can be even worse. In the case of high fructose corn syrup, too much of a bad thing can be toxic. This is one ingredient that you should leave out of your diet completely.
Many processed foods and sodas have high fructose corn syrup. It is everywhere. It is also one of the reasons that we have gone from eating and average of 20 teaspoons of sugar per person per year to 150 pounds per year. That is a lot of sugar. Where is it all going? Right to your liver. When they process high fructose corn syrup they take the sugar and separate the fructose and the glucose that are normally bound together. This sends the fructose right to you liver when you eat it. Then you develop a condition called fatty liver. Eventually if you eat enough of the syrup, you could get diabetes. Diabetes leads to heart attacks, strokes, and death from diabetes-related complications.

10 Essentials Of Twitter Etiquette

Whether tweeting as yourself or from a brand account, there are certain guidelines—let’s call them rules of the road—by which we all must abide. When people don’t follow proper Twitter etiquette, we all cringe, it’s awkward, everyone feels deflated, and you just look unenlightened.
So here are 10 Twitter etiquette rules:
1. Always add value. This can’t be stressed enough. Everything you tweet should add value to your followers’ day. This rule applies especially to brands, but you should follow it in your personal tweets as well. We’ve come so far from the days when everyone made the joke that Twitter was just a collection of what people ate for breakfast. Don’t drag the platform back to those days—unless what you had for breakfast was truly remarkable, in which case there had better be a pic!
2. #Dont #Overuse #Hashtags #In #Your #Tweets #It #Looks #Ridiculous #Stick #To #Three #Or #Fewer #TwitterEtiquette Need we say more? No? Good, ‘cuz we’re out of space.
3. A follow-back is nice, but it’s not required. It’s not a bad idea to follow influential users and people who frequently retweet or comment on your post, but don’t feel that you have to follow everyone who follows you.

See What Happened When This Woman Told The Man She Loves That She Has HIV

Being born with HIV is a very hard situation to deal with. When it comes to your love life, it may scare people away (mostly because they aren’t as informed as they could be about HIV). One woman tells her story of how when she was 19 years old she had to tell the person that she was dating that she was born with the virus.
Christina Rodriguez was about to go on a date and reconnect with someone she had a crush on all through high school. They had just started talking again after two years. She was nervous and excited at the same time. She had gone through, in her head, just how she was going to tell him that she had HIV but wasn’t sure how to get the words out. They had a great date, and then went back to his home to hang out for a while. While they were sitting in his room she decided that it was time to tell him. She brought out the note cards that she had thoughtfully written out so that she wouldn’t miss anything.

Spirit And Life Devotional: The University Of Life: Wisdom 101

It's called life; yes, and we are meant to live! Jesus came, not to take us out of the world but to enable us live a wonderful life here, first, until we can no longer be here. We are citizens of heaven; not of the world; but living here in the world now!
We have acquired degrees, we have learnt a lot in schools and in seminars, but what a lot of us haven't done is learn how to succeed at living here in the world. So we keep making mistakes, we keep making losses, we keep getting hurt, we don't respond appropriately to the challenges that confront us, we don't know how to make use of the wonderful heavenly graces that were freely given to us by God!

UPDATE: US Military Believe Missing Malaysian Jet Crashed In The INDIAN Ocean, Send Navy Vessel To The Area

U.S destroyer USS Kidd is now reportedly being moved to the Indian Ocean in order to search the area (file picture)

The mystery surrounding the fate of the Malaysia Airlines plane which went missing almost six days ago has deepened amid claims that satellites were still receiving data from the aircraft after it went missing.

A source close to the investigation has said the flight MH370, which was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 on board, sent a brief signal, or 'ping', to satellites in space after it had lost contact with ground control.

The development comes as Malaysian authorities attempted to downplay the theories springing up around the fate of the aircraft, and as the U.S. confirms it could start searching the Indian Ocean for debris - rather than the South China Sea.

Spirit And Life Devotional: Love Does No Harm

Romans 13:10 NKJV "Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."
Jesus often taught about love in relation to other people; for instance, love your neighbour as yourself. In my opinion, love is doing something that's in the best interest of another person.
It becomes easy to harm others when we are more in love with ourselves (self), than with other people. Lying, cheating, backbiting, gossip, malice, fighting, and many other negative things happen because we do not have sufficient love for fellow men.

Has Malaysian Plane Been FOUND?: China Releases Satellite Image Of Suspected Crash Site [LOOK]

A Chinese satellite searching for missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370 has found what it is calling a 'suspected crash area at sea' - releasing images of what they are describing as three 'large, floating, objects' in the South China Sea.

The potentially crucial development comes on the fifth day of the search for the Boeing 777 - which seemingly vanished without trace early on Saturday morning.

China's State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense announced the discovery of the images in the are where rescuers first started looking on Saturday - along with other images of what appear to show an oil slick tracing the surrounding area.

Spirit And Life Devotional: A Loyal Heart

I Chronicles 29:19 NKJV "And give my son Solomon a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes, to do all these  things, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”
I think that what is lacking
in the lives of a lot of us is a loyal heart. Though we go to church, read our Bibles, pray, read and listen to several messages, yet we live and do as we please. We are simply not loyal to God and to His word.

Spirit And Life Devotional: Dominion Over Sin

Genesis 4:6-7 NLT “Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain. “Why do you look so dejected? You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.”
Something happened when you got born again; you died and resurrected with Christ; you became a new creation; your old nature that was sinful was taken away and the nature of Christ that is holy and righteous was given unto you. Hallelujah!

16 Signs Your Sexual Partner May Be HIV Positive

by Amanda Gardner
Within a month or two of HIV entering the body, 40% to 90% of people experience flulike symptoms known as acute retroviral syndrome (ARS).
But sometimes HIV symptoms don’t appear for years—sometimes even a decade—after infection.
“In the early stages of HIV infection, the most common symptoms are none,” says Michael Horberg, MD, director of HIV/AIDS for Kaiser Permanente, in Oakland, Calif. One in five people in the United States with HIV doesn’t know they have it, which is why it’s so important to get tested, especially if you have unprotected sex with more than one partner or use intravenous drugs.

My Story, By Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Interview)

In the beginning

As at the time I came into office, several things had collapsed. From banks to stock exchange, they had crashed. Inflation was at 15.6percent three months before I became Central Bank Governor; there was already instability in every sector of the economy. When I look back, I thank God for the people who supported us and criticized us as well because criticism has made us stronger. Also, when I look back, I can point to several things that have changed after our arrival and till date.

Keeping inflation down

For the first time in a long while, we have been able to keep inflation at about 7percent since January 2013 and it is still like that up till this moment. As far as instability and exchange rate is concerned, we have worked tirelessly to ensure things work out well for the economy.

We also introduced cash reduction in the system. Although most people didn’t like it because they felt it will add more problem to the exchange rate because people want to buy dollars but against all odds, the cashless policy has worked and it’s still working today.

Sound Of Music: Maria Last Surviving Member Of Von Trapp Family Dies At 99

Maria Von Trapp, the last surviving member of the famous Trapp family, has died at the age of 99.

Von Trapp was the last surviving member of the Austrian family of seven brothers and sisters and died in her sleep at her Vermont home. "It was a surprise that she was the one in the family to live the longest because ever since she was a child she suffered from a weak heart," family friend Marianne Dorfer told the Austrian Times.

"It was the fact that she suffered from this that her father decided to hire Maria von Trapp to teach her and her brothers and sisters," she continued. "That of course then led to one of the most remarkable musical partnerships of the last century."

Spirit And Life Devotional: Clothed With Humility

I Peter 5:5 NKJV "Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
If God resists the proud and gives grace to the humble, then I want to be humble for the rest of my life!
In the church, and everywhere really, you've got to forget about how important or revered you are; forget about the number of high tables you've sat on, forget that you are a friend of Mr. President and CEOs of multinational organisations; forget about your qualifications, forget about the number of countries you've been to, or how many people report to you at work, forget about what you possess, and the family you come from. Forget about how expensive what you are putting on too. Never be too big to relate with other brethren, to work with them, or to do whatever you are asked to do, even if they smell, and even if they don't give you your due respect. See God and not them!

Spirit And Life Devotional: Passing The Baton

Titus 1:5 AMP "For this reason I left you [behind] in Crete, that you might set right what was defective and finish what was left undone, and that you might appoint elders and set them over the churches (assemblies) in every city as I directed you."
I used to think that it was my responsibility to finish whatever I start; you know, Jesus said that His meat was to do the will of God and to finish it. But finishing His work didn't mean He would stay on earth forever, overseeing the church He established; He finished His own part; His own work, and then passed the baton to someone else.

10 Essentials To Have Before Your Baby Arrives

You've read books on what to expect when you're pregnant from cover to cover, and have decorated the baby room with flourish. But have you made a list of the most essential items you'll need when the baby comes home? Read through this list of the absolute must-haves.

1. Crib
Find a crib with a mattress and crib sheets that are fitted. Look for one that is comfortable and secure enough to hold a bonny baby.

2. Bouncy seat
A bouncy seat is required since you won't be able to put your baby in her crib every time you go over to the kitchen to cook, or the bathroom to the do laundry. Find a simple and regular sized model for the newborn. Bouncy seats are mobile so you can even bring one into the bathroom while taking a shower.

3. Formula
Irrespective of whether you are breastfeeding or bottle-feeding your baby, keep a few cans of milk-based formula handy in the kitchen cabinet for emergencies - like delays getting home from an errand. Before you stock up, though, make sure the brand suits your newborn.

4. Feeding bottles
You don't need many if you are nursing the infant yourself. Otherwise, you will need about 10bottles a day. This number sounds bloated since you could consider washing and reusing the bottles. However, having a few extras will save you the time taken to wash them frequently. Pick full-size bottles since the baby will grow out of tiny ones pretty soon.

Spirit And Life Devotional: Our Sins Were Laid On Jesus

Ezekiel 4:4-6 NLT “Now lie on your left side and place the sins of Israel on yourself. You are to bear their sins for the number of days you lie there on your side. I am requiring you to bear Israel’s sins for 390 days—one day for each year of their sin. After that, turn over and lie on your right side for 40 days—one day for each year of Judah’s sin."
Following God, especially working for Him, is a life of sacrifice. But it is also rewarding. Some people want the rewards without the sacrifices; but it isn't so. In the Scripture above, we see Ezekiel being made to lie in a certain position for over a year! If you read subsequent verses, God restrained him from moving and made him eat rubbish. God laid the sins of Israel on Ezekiel and made him pass through all that as a sign of what the Israelites were to suffer as a result of their sins.
