Sequel to Ese Walter's confession, inquiring minds were waiting for Sunday service to see and hear Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo's reaction. The Commonwealth of Zion Assembly pastor was his usual calm, charismatic, and energetic self as he delivered his sermon this morning in Abuja, according to reports of those that attended the service. He addressed the issue in a very subtle manner saying God has a plan for everything and God told him not to respond just yet.
“When God starts making a move, it doesn't look like it on the surface, but God knows what He is doing. If God tells you don’t fight for yourself, don’t fight for yourself because you will spoil what God wants to do,” he said. He also spoke about Joseph who never tried to defend himself despite all he went through. “He just moved on,” he said and then asked, “or how many of you read that Joseph was bitter?”

So the man shld just man up if posible resign n move on with his life or better step down for now as a sign of respect to God n his congregation. Those telling him to keep quiet know it is the truth and are ashame for the truth to be told. God help us.
God is calling us to accountability. The Bible says in Psalm 51:17 "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise."
ReplyDeleteCover ups and denials are just not right. Lets just see how this plays out. If God is beginning to expose a mess in the church or a cancer, it usually gets fully exposed and by God's grace gets purged out. Lets see.
