Every one has a purpose, a reason for being. Apostle Paul to the Ephesians; "Though I am the least deserving of all God's people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. I was chosen to explain to everyone this mysterious plan that God, the Creator of all things, had kept secret from the beginning." Ephesians 3:8-9 NLT
We get more insight about what Paul shared with the Ephesians in his letter to the saints that were at Colosse: "God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you. This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God's people. For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory." Colossians 1:25-27
Christ in us is the assurance of sharing His glory, His endless treasures! Hallelujah! Romans 9:23 says we are objects of mercy who "were prepared in advance for glory." Wow!
Cheer up; faint not; whatever the situation might be now, always remember that there's glory ahead! Blessed assurance, Jesus is ours! O what a foretaste of glory divine! Heirs of salvation, purchased of God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood!
