Bola Tinubu has successfully undergone an orthopedic surgery in America

Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu went  to  the United State of America early August 2013 to undergo an orthopedic surgery on his knee, according to a statement by his media office.

“Based on previous sports injury on one of his knees and recent further aggravation on the knee from rigorous political and family related activities, he has been advised by his doctors, despite his persistent reluctance that orthopedic surgery is necessary at this time”, said the statement.

It is now reported that the surgery was completed 3 days ago and it was successful. He is expected back to the country anytime soon, after clearance from his doctors.
