Spirit and Life Devotional: A Divine Set Up

A DIVINE SET UP

For a long time, Pharaoh wouldn't let the Israelites leave Egypt, despite the wonders God used Moses and Aaron to perform before him. Pharaoh would have thought himself to be strong and powerful, he didn't realise that he was divinely set up. His heart was hardened so that God would demonstrate His power in that land.

If the world knew, they wouldn't dare to attempt to mess up a believer! 2 Chronicles 16:9 says that the eyes of the Lord runs to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. God will always come to our aid! Woe unto the man who tries to frustrate a child of God!

Look at Micah 4:11-13, "Now many nations have gathered against you. 'Let her be desecrated,' they say. 'Let us see the destruction of Jerusalem.' But they do not know the LORD’s thoughts or understand his plan. These nations don’t know that he is gathering them together to be beaten and trampled like sheaves of grain on a threshing floor. 'Rise up and crush the nations, O Jerusalem!' says the LORD. 'For I will give you iron horns and bronze hooves, so you can trample many nations to pieces.'" God set them up!

Had the rulers known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory! If your persecutors knew, they wouldn't be messing with you! Hear me child of God; rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him! Fear not your adversaries, though they be many and strong, be not frightened by the strategies and schemes of your opposition, God is always in control and you are more than a conqueror! At the end of it all, you'll still be standing and they'll all bow to you!
