Spirit and Life Devotional: TRANSFORMED

You're either conforming to the world or being transformed to be like Christ. Note that both cannot happen at the same time. There are Christians who are eager to bring in some of their cultural practices and worldly ways of living and doing things into the church. Sorry; it's simply unacceptable!

You were recreated by God and called out of darkness into His marvellous light. In other words, you are not meant to fit in the world. When you were born again, you became a round peg in a square world!


Romans 12:2 says, "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."

Be transformed. God made you born again, now He's asking you to be transformed: and He tells you how; by the renewing of your mind. So start again to fill your mind with godly and right thoughts; give your mind new materials to meditate upon; and ensure it is safely guarded from negative and evil influences in the world.
