THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS
When we get to Heaven, it wouldn't be about how many times you went to church, or how many times you fasted and prayed, or how many sick people you healed, or how many mountains you moved, or how many people you made rich; it would be about whether or not you truly loved.
If there's any one scripture that changed my life, it is Galatians 5:6, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." This verse changed my perspective about everything.
It is all about love; without love we are nothing! If there's anything we should perfect, it's our ability to love. Show me a man who loves, and I'll show you a man who has become like God.
Love your neighbour as God loves you. Don't hate people. Forgive those who have offended you. Help as many as you can. Speak ill of no man. Bear no grudges. Try not to step on the toes of others. Live peaceably with all men. Let brotherly love continue.
