Grateful people are wise people. To show sincere appreciation for whatever is done to you, for you, and even by you! no matter how little it may have been, is a display of wisdom and an understanding of life. A fool thinks he achieves things by his own wisdom and strength so he's disconnected from his Source and suffers miserably.
Gratitude has a multiplier effect. Every time we express gratitude we increase our chances of receiving more of what we received and open doors for much more. Gratitude therefore, is an important key for success and abundance. It creates opportunities. Gratitude is the mother of increase.
1 Chronicles 23:30 reveals that David appointed some Levites "to stand every morning to thank and praise the LORD, and likewise at evening." No wonder God's presence was always with them, for God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). Darby Bible Translation says God dwells amid our praises. Gratitude not only brings God down, it keeps you in God!
Get your praise on! Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Sing praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

ReplyDeleteWhen you lift Your hands up high
ReplyDeleteAnd you sing a song of praise to Me
It brings Me great delight
Such a lovely sight
And yes it is true
Praise looks good on You
Morning night and noon
Your praise ascends to heaven
Like the smell sweet perfume
Filling every room
And yes it is true
Praise looks good on You
