Aswad Ayinde who is an award winning video producer and self-proclaimed prophet has been sentenced to 90 years in prison. He was found guilty by a New Jersey court of raping and impregnating his own daughters. Sick stuff!!!
He directed the 1996 Fugees' Killing Me Softly video and won an MTV award for it. It is alleged that the rape and abuse of his daughters took place between 1980s to 2002. The court heard that he beat he daughters and kept them isolated by delivering the babies himself and having his daughters homeschooled.
It is alleged that he said the world was going to end and he wanted to create a "pure bloodline" by having children by his daughters.
He was given 40 years imprisonment in 2010 and has just been given an additional 50 years. He still faces three more trials because he requested separate hearings.
We sincerely hope his daughters can heal and find peace from all this pain.
