Many people out there are searching for some 'special' wisdom and 'superior' knowledge, sadly they are looking in the wrong places. What's even more troubling is the fact that not all 'believers' uphold the Scriptures as final authority on all matters of life; to them, they have an 'open mind'. I pray for them.
Colossians 2:3 says that in Christ Jesus are stored all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Hallelujah! The number of people who believe it, the calibre of the people who believe it, and for how long it has been believed don't matter if it didn't originate from Christ - all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are in Christ alone; anything from anywhere else is rubbish!
But I've got even better news for you! Ephesians 1:8 says that God has showered His kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. Dearly beloved, in you is Christ! You didn't get it! Because Christ is in you, all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are in you! Glory to God!
No, you are not stupid, neither are you foolish; the Spirit of God dwells in you. Let the word of God dwell richly in you, and don't be carried away by high-sounding philosophies of mere men like you. Outstanding success, victory and dominion are yours in the name of Jesus. Amen.
