The new iPhone 5s helped attract the longest lines ever — a record 1,417 people — outside Apple's flagship store in New York City this week, and now they're all sold out.

Until October, that is.

Emmys 2013: Full List of Winners

The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles didn’t disappoint tonight as ”Breaking Bad” took home the final Emmy of the evening for Outstanding Drama Series, giving die-hard fans a silver lining as the show concludes next week.

The night also included some surprises as “The Newsroom’s” Jeff Daniels beat out Bryan Cranston for Lead Actor in a Drama and Kerry Washington didn’t win for Lead Actress in a Drama like expected. Michael Douglas picked up an award for his portrayal of Liberace in “Behind the Candelabra” and “Modern Family” won again for Outstanding Comedy Series.

The 65^th Primetime Emmy Awards was held on Sunday, September 22

“Breaking Bad” won the big prize for outstanding drama. “Modern Family” won its fourth straight Emmy for outstanding comedy. There were plenty of upsets this year and no shortage of beautiful dresses on the red parpet.

Some of my personal favourites are the dresses worn by Kerry Washington, a very pregnant Brooke Anderson, and Amy Poehler.

$270m Worth of Cocaine Found on Air France Flight

CNN Reports  that 1.3 tons of pure cocaine was found on an Air France flight on September 11 stuffed inside anonymous bags. What was odd is that 30 colourful suitcases showed up on a flight from Venezuela and they were not registered to anyone on the flight.

The cocaine has a street value of 200 million Euros or $270 million.

And as you know, a prisoner is deprived of many of his rights. Knowing all these, Paul and the apostles chose to call themselves bondservants of Christ!

Galatians 1:10 says, "For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I now seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ." Here's how The Message interprets it, "Do you think I speak this strongly in order to manipulate crowds? Or curry favour with God? Or get popular applause? If my goal was popularity, I wouldn't bother being Christ's slave."

Inspired? 10-year-old female entrepreneur is setting the world on fire

Asia Newson, at the age of 10, is leaving her imprint on the hearts and minds of industry leaders in Detroit, USA.

“I want to let everyone know that I am Detroit’s youngest entrepreneur and I like to do what I like to do,” Asia recently told Local 4.

Newson is a young businesswoman who is determined to live life on her own terms. She sells candles with her father and wants other young people to understand the value of hard work. “I teach young people, like myself, how to make their own money,” Newson said about her business, Super-Business Girl.

In a picture that has gone viral on social media outlets, many are proclaiming that the notion of a post-racial America is just an excuse for some people to say, do, and in this instance, wear whatever they want without any recourse.

A picture has surfaced of a young white woman wearing an “I Love My N*gga” t-shirt while standing next to a young African-American male. The names of the aforementioned people are not circulating with the image, but the image does raise startling questions as to why anyone would be ok with anyone wearing a t-shirt of that nature.

Pope Francis said religion has the right to express its opinions but not to "interfere spiritually" in the lives of gays and lesbians, expanding on explosive comments he made in July about not judging homosexuals.

In a wide-ranging interview published yesterday by Jesuit magazines, the pope also said that women must play a key role in church decisions and brushed off critics who say he should advocate more vocally against abortion and gay marriage.
If Catholic leaders fail to find a "new balance" between their spiritual and political missions, the pope warned, the church's moral foundation will "fall like a house of cards."

US Navy Shipyard Gunman Identified, as names of victims are released

The suspect in the brutαl shooting in a Navy shipyard has been identified.  Aaron Alexis, now deceased, is the man authorities claim was responsible for the shooting that left at least 13 people deαd.

Alexis began working in the shipyard as a civilian contractor and was armed with an assault rifle and handgun during the rampage.  His aunt, Helen Weeks, says that he grew up in Brooklyn, NY with his mother and father, Sarah and Anthony.

Twitter Fight! TV hosts Frank Edoho and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu in war of word (TWEETS)

Frank Edoho, the host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire replied to Ebuka's tweet and I'm sure he didn't see that coming. Ebuka dissed the show(in the tweet above), and Frank responded inviting him to be a contestant, calling him 'smart Alec'...sarcastically of course. But truly, Ebuka acts like he knows it all...on twitter.

For the love of Bey: Beyonce almost pulled of stage by fan in Brazil (WATCH)

 

A little mishap happened as Beyonce was performing at her concert in Sao Paolo, Brazil, where she is currently on tour. A fan in a rave of excitement pulled the diva a little to hard and she ended up on the floor. B was the classy babe she always is, she stopped her song and gave him some attention. She told him it was okay and gave him a chance to sing. Sweet thing!
