Spirit and Life Devotional: AT THE END, YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF

It is written in Ecclesiastes 8:12, "Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before God." Hallelujah!

You might be jobless today because you've refused to compromise, and sin with someone who could have given you a job; you might still be single because you want to marry according to the will of God, the person God has chosen for you; your colleagues might be advancing and making progress while you're not right now, because they are doing anything whatsoever to get whatever they want, that you can't do because you are born again; and your competitors might be getting almost all the contracts because they don't mind giving bribes, and you won't.

Child of God, don't be bothered! You know what? The good life has been reserved for you and at the end, you will end up better off! That's the word of God! The New Living Translation of Ecclesiastes 8:12 says that those who fear God will be better off; and The Message says that the good life is reserved for the person who fears God, who lives reverently in His presence. Glory to God!

Always see the big picture; always live with the end in mind. Life is not always about what happens in the present, because life is a process, a journey. Surely, there is an end! Your expectations shall not be cut off! (Proverbs 23:18) Serving God and being faithful to Him is very rewarding; He never disappoints, He never fails. Cheer up! It will be well with you!
