The leader of the Niger Delta Volunteer Force, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, who was arrested in Benin Republic on Tuesday has been released. He was released this morning after an intervention by President Goodluck Jonathan. His lawyer, Festus Keyamo has confirmed his release. Reports also have it that he has been flown back to Abuja in a private jet provided by the presidency.
