7 Steps to Attract The Person of Your Dreams

(c) 123RF Stock Photos

There is just something about having a companion, a romantic partner to share your life with that puts you in a happy place. It begins with meeting that person and starting the journey of love. Anyone who is single person can start from where they are in their life at this present moment and follow these steps to find the person who is right for them and have the type of relationship they desire.

Here are the 7 Steps:

1. Involve the Divine Power: We all have different beliefs and faiths. Ultimately the Divine
Power is the mover of events and creator of destinies. You are a co-creator of your  life and experiences by what transpires in your mind and what you focus and dwell upon, and the actions you take. You should involve the Divine Power by stating your intentions and asking for help and guidance.

2. Become a Magnet for Love: Maybe you have heard of the Law of Attraction. It is a universal law that states that you attract the circumstances, situations, and happenings in your life by your internal state and what you dwell upon. Be happy now and be in love now. This emits positive energy along the lines of attracting a partner.

The fastest way to attract love is to “be in love”. Feel like you are in love. Imagine doing the things you would do with your romantic partner, create the relationship in your mind and play it out live a movie with sights, sounds, movements, and colour. Let it feel real to you and as you do this you emit the energy of love and this attracts a romantic partner to you quickly and effortlessly.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Maximizing Your Opportunity to Work

MAXIMIZING YOUR OPPORTUNITY TO WORK

Life, as I see it, is an opportunity. It is an opportunity to contribute something, to do something meaningful, to do my part; and since I was young I've been determined to live my footprints in the sands of time.

John 9:4 NLT says, "We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work." In other words, since we won't live here on earth twice, this is our only chance to carry out our assignments and fulfil our purposes. Death puts an end to our work and then we will give account to God.

10 Anti-Aging Tips to Keep You Looking Young, Fresh and Glorious

c) 123RF Stock Photos

You have heard the phrase “to age gracefully”, as soon as you reach your twenties you should seriously start thinking about anti-aging. It is not reserved for old people. As a matter of fact the earlier you start taking the right steps to stay young and glorious, the better. Here are 10 anti-aging tips to keep you young, fresh and good looking.

1.    Eat Right
Do not eat just anything, eating healthy makes you feel and look good outside as well as internally. Excessive meat and full-fat diary increases wrinkles. Eat foods rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids such as fruit, fish, vegetables. Foods like avocado, spinach, and watermelon have anti-aging properties.

2.    Wear Bright
In choosing your wardrobe wear bright colours near your face. Drab colours like brown, black, and deep dark colours drains energy from your face and makes you look older.

Spirit and Life Devotional: A Grateful Heart

A GRATEFUL HEART

Gratitude determines your altitude. Don't be surprised by that because gratitude is an attitude. A grateful man will ascend higher and faster than the one who isn't.

Are you grateful? Let's do a simple test: did you thank God for waking up this morning? I used to take it for granted until I read Psalm 3:5, "I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me." It was the Lord that kept you, you didn't wake up because you are still young and strong!

We'll always remember Michael Jackson!

It's been four years since Michael Jackson died, on June 25, 2009, from cardiac arrest caused by a lethal combination of prescription drugs. His death, later ruled a homicide, shocked fans and musicians across the world.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was away on a weekend vacation with my Bestie when i got a call from my sister, who was in Los Angeles, saying Mikey had been admitted into the hospital and it was critical.

Spirit and Life Devotional: A NEW CREATION

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." That's powerful! "He is a bria chadasha (a new being)" Hallelujah! If you are born again, understand that you are very different from those who are not.

The one who is not born again is a dead man, a condemned man, a slave of sin, a captive of death, subject to satan and demons, subject to the elements of this world, a child of wrath, hopeless and far away from God. What a terrible spiritual condition! That's why we must do all we can to reconcile them to God.

Relationship 101:Dealing with a cheating partner

Hi lovely friends,

The issue of infidelity in relationships is very contemporary, no matter how much we want to ignore the elephant in the room it's still sitting right there staring at us.

On the other hand, it doesn't mean we should go around chanting the "all men cheat" mantra(which is indeed relative anyway). I personally don't believe that all men cheat(shoot me)

Be that as it may, relationships still suffer infidelity. When a woman cheats, it's a NO NO, relationship over! But when a man cheats forgiveness is supposed to come naturally. *eyesrolling

Well, i'm not sexiest, i'm just here to offer a little help.

If you've recently discovered your spouse was unfaithful, your head is probably spinning. To help you handle the initial shock and avoid an anxiety-induced meltdown, I've put together six survival strategies for dealing with a cheater...

Spirit and Life Devotional: Dare To Hope

DARE TO HOPE

A friend said to me not too long ago, "No matter how bad it is, it could have been worse." That's what she tells herself, and knowing that it could have been worse makes her grateful at all times and in every situation.

Looking back, things may not have gone as planned, you may have lost precious things or even lives, things may have fallen apart, you may have lost your peace and maybe your happiness too. Think about it for a moment, and you'll agree with me that it could have been worse. I realised how blessed I was when I got in the midst of people who couldn't raise N15,000. Only one person gave and it was N100. I may not have millions now, but it could have been worse!

Kim Kardashian baby birth filmed

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian allowed the birth of their daughter to be filmed.
The reality television star's boyfriend refused to allow cameras for her series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, to record any footage in the hospital at the weekend, but gave her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, permission to film the arrival of their baby girl, who was born five weeks premature at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Climate Change: How we can help

Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions of years.

It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the distribution of weather around the average conditions (i.e., more or fewer extreme weather events).

The subject of climate change is one dear to my heart. I am saddled with the responsibility of 'saving the planet' in  the little way i can and spreading the word on the need to take good care of our environment not just for us but for our children and children's children, right down to many more generations to come.

My friend, Abdul Bala, a plant biologist and environmental activist wrote this article and I thought i should share it with you guys.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Just Before You Make That Move

JUST BEFORE YOU MAKE THAT MOVE

It has been said that ideas rule the world. I think so too. Virtually everything you see in the world today began as an idea in someone's mind. People are actually thriving on ideas. But I've seen people with brilliant ideas stuck: they don't know what to do with their ideas. Yet still, there are others who have failed despite having fantastic ideas.

Before you make any move, whether to start a business, get married, choose a school or course, embark on a journey, etc, no matter how inspired or smart you think you are, it's wise to seek advice. Your ideas might be fantastic, but through interactions with others you could discover better ways of achieving excellent results.

Spirit and Life Devotional: His Eye Is On You

HIS EYE IS ON YOU

While younger, I would stand in front of the house watching birds and lizards feed. Sometimes I would throw food to the ground and watch them feed on them. Whenever I did that I felt being used by God to feed them that day and I was happy. Funny, right? But doing that made me feel useful and a blessing!

Jesus said, "What is the price of two sparrows—one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Talk of the Town

TALK OF THE TOWN

If you work, or are a student, you'll agree with me that there are some things that happen and before you know it, everyone has heard about it; and not only do they hear about it, they also talk about it because it's amazing. That's what it means for something to be the talk of the town. To be the talk of the town is to be the person or subject that everyone is talking about and interested in.

Spirit and Life Devotional: He Has Promised

HE HAS PROMISED

Many of us in the world today are unreliable, especially in financial matters. Only a few feel obligated to keep their words, many intentionally say what they are very sure they wouldn't do, and feel no remorse for lying, manipulating and deceiving others. The average human being simply cannot be trusted.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Dare to Fail

DARE TO FAIL

In the parable of the talents, the excuse the servant who buried his talent gave was, "Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money." Matthew 25:24-25 MSG

Some of you reading this message are just like that servant. You know deep within you that by now you should have come out of your boat and be walking on the water. But you've let the fear of failure overcome you and keep you affixed in one spot. No!

Beside Every Great Man...

Hi Ladies!

So the "Beside every Strong Man is an even Stronger Woman" is a saying most people have heard, but have you ever thought about what it really means? I heard this saying the other day and scriptures came to my mind and the meaning behind it kind of hit me.

First off, nothing that I'm saying means that ladies can't be independent, single, successful with a career, happy, and live a fulfilling life. God is love ladies & as long as you have him, you've got it ALL! :) but this is just something to look at when you do find the one God has set aside for you.

Spirit and Life Devotional: The Prosperity of the Righteous

THE POSTERITY OF THE RIGHTEOUS

A friend asked why I write dates and prices on books I buy, and I said it was for the sake of my children. I may not be married, but I've never stopped to think about my future generations. I'm living a life that will secure blessings for them, I'm building a great name for them! I don't live for today alone, I live for the future.

They are referred to as the Seven Core Army Values, and living them is said to be living up to a higher standard. A soldier is either fighting or preparing himself for a fight.

Spirit and Life Devotional: It's A Simple Thing

IT'S A SIMPLE THING!

As it is recorded in 2 Kings 3:15-18, while the harp played, the power of the Lord came upon Elisha, and he prophesied, "This is what the LORD says: This dry valley will be filled with pools of water! You will see neither wind nor rain, says the LORD, but this valley will be filled with water. You will have plenty for yourselves and your cattle and other animals."

How that happened is certainly beyond comprehension. Dry valleys being filled with water without rain? Amazing. And Elisha said, "This is only a simple thing for the Lord." Hallelujah!

Yesterday was a memorable day for Tonto Dikeh as she released her latest song and also hosted the Kukere concert in London...where she had a great fall...on stage!!!

The night before was her birthday bash, i'm guessing she had a serious hangover while up on that stage cos rumour has it that she was babbling and behaving abnormal before the fall. She had to be carried off stage.

Let's sit back and watch her trend on twitter today...again. She has been trending for the past three days.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Take Action Now

TAKE ACTION NOW

I'm inspired by the story of Madison. At the age of 15, Madison Robinson has made sales of over a million Dollars! She came up with the idea for Fish Flops at the age of 8. At 8! You'll agree with me that many people have fantastic ideas, the difference between them and Madison is that she started at 8.

Statistics have shown that about 95% of people procrastinate occasionally. What it simply means is that many of us have delayed, and are delaying our successes. Listen, you won't spend much time praying and confessing for success and prosperity if you'll take action quickly.

Prayers for Nelson Mandela after second night in hospital

South Africans prayed for Nelson Mandela as he spent a second day in hospital today suffering a lung infection that has sparked worldwide concerns for the ailing peace icon.

Mandela's latest health scare was splashed across the front pages of local newspapers but government officials have released no updates since announcing he was hospitalised in Pretoria early Saturday in a "serious but stable" condition.

The congregation at the Regina Mundi church in Soweto, a flashpoint during the anti-apartheid struggle, prayed for the 94-year-year-old national hero.

Spirit and Life Devotional: Praying For Each Other

PRAYING FOR EACH OTHER

There are several ways to help, care,  and manifest love for each other, one of them is by praying for each other. Praying for each other is talking to God on behalf of someone else; asking God to do what you might not be able to do and to be where you might not be able to be.

James 5:16 says, "Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." We quote the latter part of that verse often, but have often failed to see its connection to praying for each other. When you pray for another, results are guaranteed.

Female students banned from wearing bras to exams in China

Female Students Banned From Wearing Bras To Exams In China
More than nine million students packed exam halls across China for the opening day of the country’s university entrance exam on Friday -with attempts to stop cheating even leading to bans on metal bra clasps.
Students in the northeastern province of Jilin were banned from wearing clothing with metal parts and education authorities installed metal detectors in exam centres to clamp down on “wireless cheating devices”, the state-run Global Times reported.
Authorities have become increasingly concerned about the risk of examinees using devices such as smartphones – some of which have become smaller and easier to hide – as an illicit aid during tests.
