HE HAS PROMISED
Many of us in the world today are unreliable, especially in financial matters. Only a few feel obligated to keep their words, many intentionally say what they are very sure they wouldn't do, and feel no remorse for lying, manipulating and deceiving others. The average human being simply cannot be trusted.
But thankfully we have a God who says what He will do and does whatever He says He will do. It is written in the Scriptures, and has also been proven to be true by many faithful in all generations, "God is not like people. He tells no lies. He is not like humans. He doesn't change his mind. When he says something, he does it. When he makes a promise, he keeps it." Numbers 23:19 God's Word Translation.
A song says, He has promised He will never fail, I will follow, I will follow Him, He has promised He will never fail, His faithfulness is forever more. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says God faithfully keeps His promises. God's word is always reliable and it endures for all time. He is powerful enough and always alive to make sure that everything He says comes to pass even in a million years.
For whatever you might be going through today, be assured that there's a Word for it, and all you need to do is to find that promise and stand on it. Personalise the promises of God, they apply to everyone who believe. You can even believe for someone else! God's word never expires and it never loses it power. He has promised and He will never fail.
