Forbes Africa names Minister of Agriculture Dr. Akinwumi Adesina Person of the Year 2013

Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture Dr. Akinwumi Adesina has just been awarded Person of the Year 2013 by Forbes Africa. The event is ongoing in Nairobi, Kenya. International media practitioner Victor Oladokun, who is in attendance, just made the announcement on his Facebook page. He wrote, "FORBES Africa has just announced its 2013 Person of the Year. The winner is ... Dr. Akinwumi Adesina, Nigeria's Minister of Agriculture. Proof positive that leadership is about transformational change."

  2. Mack, Google it. President Jonathan has completely transformed the agricultural sector and this man champions the reforms that have seen the creation of over one million new jobs and more.

    1. May, thanks for the information. That clears things up. I will Google it though I must admit I don't trust news reports cos I see them as propaganda, especially as a Nigerian living abroad. Since you say there are real reforms in the sector, I will take your word/Google's word for it@
