Exodus 15:9-10 NKJV says, "The enemy said, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, My hand shall destroy them.’

It's natural for the enemy to plan, strategise, talk, bark, roar and attempt to harm and frustrate you; the Bible says the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. Apostle Peter said Satan goes to and fro the earth seeking whom he may devour.

Why are we so quick to condemn and judge ourselves? Why are we so quick to throw stones at each other? A lot of people place so much emphasis on outward appearances; they base their own judgments of righteousness, sanctification and holiness on physical appearances, forgetting that Jesus accused the Pharisees and Sadducees of making their exteriors sparkling clean while their hearts were very dirty.

Shame is a painful emotion caused by a strong sense of guilt, embarrassment, unworthiness, or disgrace. It is also a condition of disgrace or dishonour. David said, "In you, Lord my God, I put my trust. I trust in you; do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me." Psalm 25:1-2.

There are several things that cause shame; and there are people who want to put us to shame. Shame could also be a result of our past conditions and experiences. Whatever the case, shame is not our portion. Psalm 25:3 says that no one who hopes in God will ever be put to shame. Hallelujah!
