Love and Intimacy: 10 things you should know about your man

Whether you have been married for 30 years or have just come back from the honeymoon you may think you know everything about your husband but here are 10 things that you may not know that can bring the two of you closer than ever.

1. You need to recognize when he needs space. The second that he walks through the door after a long day of work is not the best time to be spouting off the latest gossip or the problems that you had with the kids that day. Let him collect his thoughts and settle down before you begin barraging him with conversation.

2. When he is really listening to you there are cues that show whether he is listening or zoning out. If he is responding with one word answers and not engaging, he is probably not listening. If he repeats info and offers suggestions, he is.

But when disaster strikes your partner, there are some behaviors you need to ease up on, and some that will be all new territory for you. WORSHIP; the heartbeat of God

The mystery of worship lies simply in the truth that God created us for fellowship. Nothing refreshes the heart of God as the delight He derives from a true worshiper.

In its proper spiritual perspective, worship transcends singing (whether at your local Church or in the privacy of your home), it is the very purpose for which you were created by God!

Hence not only does it require your singing, but much more your entire living, all that we think, say and do must ring God’s praise and glory (Isaiah 43:21).

10 simple tips that might save your relationship

By Winona Dimeo-Edgar
My boyfriend Nick and I recently made a new relationship rule: as soon as either of us feels any inkling of a bad mood coming on, we tell each other ASAP. Just a quick heads up, like, “Hey, I’m feeling a little irritable right now.” Announcing your bad mood before it causes a problem lets your partner know they shouldn’t take any crankiness personally, and forces you to be accountable for your own emotions. This is such a quick, easy thing to do, but it has worked wonders for our relationship. The success of the Bad Mood Rule inspired me to compile a list of other quick, easy tips that just might save your relationship. Read on for 10 more ideas from The Frisky ladies and me, and please feel free to add your own tips in the comments!
