Pitt has “gone gaga” for Nyong’o, claims the Enquirer, which explains that the actor-producer “let the cat out of the bag” with his praise of the actress at a recent awards gala.
“She’s very special, a very special young lady. We’re going to see great things from her,” he said.
When Pitt later flew to Australia to reunite with Jolie and their children on the set of ‘Unbroken’, trouble ensued.
“He wasn’t welcomed with open arms,” says a so-called “source” for the Enquirer. “Angelina read him the riot act when he arrived.”
The Enquirer insider says that Pitt and Nyong’o were very close at the Producers Guild Awards event, remarking, “If you didn’t know better, you would have thought Brad and Lupita were girlfriend and boyfriend.”
The source says when Leonardo DiCaprio snuck a kiss on Nyong’o’s cheek on the red carpet, Pitt stepped in and jokingly warned: “Hey, man, stay away from my girl!”
He made a movie, it featured Nyong’o, and she did good work in it.
He acknowledged her good work. That’s it.
A source close to the situation describes the Enquirer story is “ridiculous.”
