Shellie Zimmerman, the wife of George Zimmerman has filed
for divorce. George Zimmerman about two months ago was found not guilty for
second degree murder for the February 2012 shooting death of black unarmed
teen, Trayvon Martin.

Shellie Zimmerman was in court recently for own trial.
She was convicted of perjury last month for lying about the couple’s assets
during a bail hearing following her husband’s arrest in 2012. She was sentenced
to a year’s probation and 100 hours of community service.
Incidentally, throughout her trial George Zimmerman was not
in court.
After her trial she said in an interview that she would
like to remain married and have children, but she would have to think about
whether she would do this with George.
